Hospital Performance Insights

Better data is needed to help hospitals make the necessary fiscal and operational decisions to thrive in today’s uncertain economic landscape.

That’s why HIDI launched the Hospital Performance Insights dashboard, a Fiscal Optics product offering. This offering will provide participants with dashboards that visualize fiscally focused peer benchmarking information in common groupings, such as gross revenue, discounts and expenses. MHA-member hospitals may participate in this program by submitting timely hospital financial data through HIDI’s secure portal.  As of Nov. 25, 2024, all organizations that have submitted data within the last four quarters will retain access to the dashboard. If there is no submission in the current quarter, your access will not include the latest quarter’s data. By submitting data each quarter by the deadline, you are ensuring that your organization’s insights and contributions remain part of the ongoing statewide analysis, and you will receive more robust peer benchmarking insights. 

How to submit your data

Log in to the HIDI Advantage User Portal and submit your hospital’s income statement data into a brief, online survey. Designed for ease-of-use and only requiring readily available KPIs, the survey should take less than five minutes to complete. Like HIDI’s other data collection initiatives, you’ll submit data via HIDI Advantage Fundamentals. From there, navigate to Optics Data Collection > Hospital Performance Insights > Data Entry, and you’re on your way.
