Our Story

HIDI was founded as the Hospital Industry Data Institute by the Missouri Hospital Association 39 years ago to address the data needs of its members. So, we understand hospitals and hospital associations. HIDI has grown into a national leader in collecting, aggregating and enriching hospital data, now serving state hospital associations and their members in 15 states.

While data collection, aggregation and validation are a cornerstone of our business, HIDI Advantage is a comprehensive portfolio of services that will help you use your data to make better decisions. From descriptive to predictive HIDI’s analytics are embedded in our solution offerings.
