Laura Gestaut

Laura Gestaut is a public health analytics leader with more than 15 years’ experience working with data and technology to drive innovation. A trained epidemiologist, she excels in using analytical expertise to drive quality, advance alternative payment models, address social determinants of health and improve population health.

Prior to joining HIDI, she most recently was a senior director of analytics and reporting with Centene Corporation, focused on quality analytics. Before that, she has held different positions leading various state Medicaid and public health programs focused on data strategy, program operations, value-based care, maternal and child health, quality measurement, analytics, and technology. Her experience partnering with diverse stakeholders to ensure user needs are met and to drive initiative success are directly applicable to her role here at HIDI.

Laura earned her Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Tulane University; and a Bachelor of Arts from Beloit College, where she double majored in political science and health and society, and minored in international economics.
