Mat Reidhead

Mat has worked in health care analytics and research since July of 2006. He is currently the Division Vice President of Research, Analytics and Innovation at HIDI. In this role, he specializes in research, analytics and policy formation surrounding health equity, and social determinants of health, small-area population health estimation, hierarchical health outcomes modeling, risk prediction, applied health policy analysis and prescriptive policy development with empirical support from various data sources.

He previously served as President of the Board of Directors for the Hermann Area District Hospital in Hermann, Missouri, as a member of the All-Cause Admissions and Readmissions Standing Committee and the National Quality Forum, and as Health Economist for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

His work has been published in Health Affairs, JAMA, Health Services Research, Medical Care, The Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases, PLOS One, The Journal of Public Health Management and Practice, New England Journal of Medicine-Catalyst, Annals of Internal Medicine, Modern Healthcare and Readmission News. 

He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts, both in economics from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in May 2006.
